TEACHER TRAINING

Teacher Training

The six district committees that administer Peer Support in New Zealand offer training for teachers each year.  The training focuses on familiarising teachers with the components of the peer support programme.

The training programme aims to get teachers ready to be able to train senior students in their role as student leaders and to support them as the programme is implemented from the start of the school year.
